 1. Are there any special requirements for the foundation?
A: No, but as with any construction, the better the foundation, the easier the project.
 2. How do I run my electrical wiring? / How are electrical wiring and fixtures installed? / What is the best way to do the plumbing on a house with panels?
A: (1) Panels run wire chases, or "tunnels", vertically and horizontally through each panel to accommodate all your electrical needs.
(2) On the interior is best, since doing plumbing lines on the outside would break up the thermal barrier. If necessary, it is very easy to do the plumbing on the exterior.
(3) In commercial construction, wiring is pulled through conduit. "Chases" or channels are built into the foam cores of a SIP panel that work like conduit. Electricians use a fish tape and feed the wires through panel chases without compressing insulation or drilling through studs. Typically, plumbing is installed in interior walls and floors, but not in exterior walls. Where exterior wall vent pipes are necessary, chases can be formed in the foam cores. Installing island vents or loop vents is also a common practice and can be found in plumbing codes.
(4) Electrical wires are pulled through precut channels inside the core of the panels called “chases.” Manufacturers cut chases during the manufacturing process according to the electrical design of the home. Electricians can then use fish tape to feed wires through panel chases without compressing the insulation or having to drill through studs. Wiring can also be run through baseboard raceways and in the cavity behind the beveled spacer on SIP roof-to-wall connections.
 3. What foundation should be used?
A: Any construction can be used but the tolerance to level must be +/- 5mm to ensure the most efficient erection of the SIPS panels.

4. What are the options for external finishes?
A: Almost total choice from bricks, natural stone, brick slips, polymer and cement renders, timber cladding and metal cladding.
 5. How long is the building time of one house?/ How long does it take to finish the installation of SIP house?
A: It depends on the design and the construction area of your house. Generally speaking, four labors with a supervisor can finish the erection of one house around 200 sq.m within 6 days.
 6. Does the house have all plumbing pipes and electrical wires built in?
A: No, all the electrical chased have been cut in the workshop, but as the requirements on cables and plumbing system are different from country to country, you have to buy and install them on your jobsite by yourselves.
 7. Do I need a crane / lifting equipment and scaffolding for the panels to be installed?
A: When installing the wall panels, panel by panel a crane or telescopic handler is not needed as the panels are light enough to be lifted and manoeuvred into place. A crane or telescopic handler is required when wall or roof panels are joined together on the ground and installed as an entire section.
Installing roof panels will always require a crane or telescopic handler of appropriate size.
Scaffolding is to be erected around three sides of the building before we arrive on site to erect the building. The scaffolding company should then return to complete the installation once the erectors are at first floor level. The scaffolding can be erected far enough away from the frame so that it can stay up and be used by the other trades such as brick-layers and roofers.
On receipt of an order, a site survey will be carried out by one of our representatives to determine the necessary equipment to be used.
